Let me tell you a little about myself and Super kids preschool! My name is Mrs. Liz, I have 4 boys, 1 girl, and a wonderful husband. We’ve been married since 2,000 and love our cute kids. We have lived throughout Utah and Arizona and are now located in Riverton, Utah.
I graduated from BYU-I with an Associate’s degree with my emphasis on Early Childhood Education. I then graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Early Childhood Education. I taught pre-k at the U of U for a year, taught 9 years of pre-k with my children through various neighborhood preschools started Super-kids Preschool in 2013.
I love teaching and helping these young children learn and grow and prepare for kindergarten. I believe in fostering creativity and giving positive reinforcement. I believe in developing not only cognitive development, but also emotional, social and physical development. I work on helping children develop a growth mindset, of building confidence and self-esteem through working hard and achieving something. We work on various activities that help them learn. This includes art, music, paint, clay, playdough, puzzles, role play and more. Our goal is to help children work on cooperation, negotiation, compromise and self-control.
